Day 1: Bucharest – Lima. Check-in and boarding at Bucharest Otopeni airport for the flight to Lima. Transfer and accommodation at Hotel Dazzler Lima 4*, or similar, in the Lima area.
Day 2: Lima – Paracas – Nazca. Early morning departure to Paracas (breakfast included). Free time or optional* boat trip to the Ballestas Islands (organized depending on weather conditions) where the largest population of “guano” producing birds such as the Guanay cormorant and Boobies (they have a specific blue-gray leg color) is found. A large population of sea lions also lives on these islands. Departure to Nazca. Optional* plane ride over the Nazca lines (the excursion is organized depending on weather conditions, approximate flight duration: 30 minutes). Accommodation at Hotel Casa Andina Standard Nasca 3*, or similar, in the Nazca area
Day 3: Nazca – Arequipa. Breakfast. Departure to Arequipa on the South Panamerican road along which you can admire the desert landscape. The route includes stops in the Nazca Fault area, Tanaka – photo stop in the beach area, Atico and Camana (the stops do not include visiting the tourist attractions, there are breaks along the route). Accommodation at Hotel Sonesta 4*, or similar, in the Arequipa area
Day 4: Arequipa – Puno. Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the city of Arequipa, visit the Compania de Jesus Church and the Santa Catalina Monastery. Departure for Puno. Accommodation at the 4* Royal Inn Hotel, or similar, in the Puno area.
Day 5: Puno – Lake Titicaca – Puno. Breakfast. Morning boat trip on Lake Titicaca and visit to the floating Uros Island and Amantani Island where you have the opportunity to interact with the local community. Lunch included at a local restaurant. Accommodation at Hotel Royal Inn 4*, or similar, in the Puno area.
Day 6: Puno – Cusco . Breakfast. Departure for Cusco. Along the way we pass through the villages of Urcos, San Pedro, Tinta and Sicuani. Stop for photos in the La Raya pass (4338m altitude). Visit the Pucara Stone Museum and the Racchi archaeological site. Stop in Andahuaylillas and visit the Huaro Church. Accommodation at Sonesta Hotel Cusco 4*, or similar, in the Cusco area.
Day 7: Cusco – Urubamba (Sacred Valley) . Breakfast. Visit the Sacsayhuaman fortress and the Puca Pucara military construction. The route continues with a visit to the Indian market in Pisac, a picturesque city, famous for its rare quality goods specific to the Andes area, produced by local artisans. In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo, an important archaeological site, dating from the late period of the Inca Civilization and the Yucay Culture Museum. Accommodation at Hotel Agustos Urubamba 3*, or similar, in the Sacred Valley area.
Day 8: Urubamba – Machu Picchu – Cusco. Breakfast. Transfer to Ollantaytambo train station and departure by train to Aguas Calientes, from where the journey continues by minibus to Machu Picchu, the “Lost City of the Incas”. Visit the most famous tourist attraction in South America, considered one of the 7 new wonders of the world. Transfer to the train station and board the train on the Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo route then transfer by bus to Cusco. Accommodation at Sonesta Hotel Cusco 4*, or similar, in the Cusco area.
Day 9: Cusco – Lima . Breakfast. In the morning, city tour in Cusco including visiting the historic center, Hatun Rumilloc Street, the Koricancha Temple – dedicated to the sun god and the Cathedral. Transfer to the airport and boarding the flight with the Cusco – Lima route. Arrival in Lima and visit to the Larco Herrera Museum. Transfer and accommodation at Hotel Dazzler Lima 4*, or similar, in the Lima area.
Day 10: Lima – Bucharest. Breakfast. In the morning, city tour in Lima where you visit the Central Square, the Presidential Palace (exterior), the City Hall (exterior), the Cathedral of Lima, the Monastery of San Francisco. Transfer to the airport for the international flight to Bucharest.
